AI Workflow Engineer - Agentic Framework Development

The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced AI and automation expert to help build the intelligent systems that will help people and communities navigate the bureaucratic process of starting and running their renewable energy communities.
Timing: October to December 2025
As our AI Workflow Engineer, you will be part of building the agentic framework that turns a complex, months-long process into an AI-guided workflow.
This role focuses on deploying practical AI solutions to solve real coordination and automation challenges and the agentic workflow will:
- Guide communities through regulatory compliance and planning applications
- Automate financial modeling and investor matching
- Orchestrate multi-step approval workflows across stakeholders
- Generate personalized project recommendations based on local conditions
- Monitor and optimize energy production post-deployment
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, multi-agent AI workflows using modern orchestration frameworks Build robust evaluation systems to measure agent performance, accuracy, and reliability
Create monitoring and observability infrastructure for production agentic systems Collaborate with product teams to identify automation opportunities throughout the renewable energy project lifecycle Establish best practices for prompt/context engineering, agent coordination, error handling and continuous improvement
Experience
AI Workflow Development
Proven track record building production-grade agentic systems with multiple interconnected AI components Experience designing workflows that handle complex decision trees, conditional logic, and human-in-the-loop processes Deep understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations in production environments
Core Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript preferred, alternatively Python
- Understanding of API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with Model Context Protocols (MCPs) for AI agent integration
- Hands-on experience with complex automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make.com, or similar tools)
- Experience with vector databases, RAG systems, and semantic search
Nice to Haves
- Based in Copenhagen or willing to work from our Copenhagen office occasionally
- Front-end development skills to jump in when critical (React/NextJS experience)
- Speak Danish
- Experience in fin tech, energy, sustainability, or community-focused technology
